North Shore Congregation Israel Hebrew School/Religious school is the newest Aitz Hayim option

At Aitz Hayim, being Jewish is an approach to living, not an academic degree.  That is why we offer our children different paths to developing their Jewishness and to become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah. Through our relationship with North Shore Congregation Israel, we offer our members full participation in their Hebrew and Religious Schools and youth groups.  The school is demonstrating  innovative creative approaches under their new director Roberta Goldman, who is an authority on what works and doesn’t in Jewish education. Our own outstanding educator Greta Rothschild will continue to work with families for Bar and Bat Mitzvah preparation, Tot Shabbat, and will work with you to develop individual programs with tutors for individual kids, families, and small groups.  Because we believe there are many ways to be Jewish, there are many ways to become Jewish and we are excited to try them all.

For information about how Aitz Hayim is integrated into the Hebrew school and Religious school classes at NSCI including their class offerings for grades K through 8 or for information about Bar and Bat Mitzvah tutoring programs, contact the Aitz Hayim office and ask for Greta Rothschild at: 847-835-3232.
